Preparations

The most important person  for all my preparations was Alen Berni.

I met him in 1998, when i first came to Umag from the Baltic, my home seas.

He took care of all my boats until 2005, when I left  Croatia to get my latest Sleipnir in England.

Always when I came home after a sailing trip, there was a long list of things to be done, to be repaired, cleaned or to be taken care of. When I came back to my boat for the next trip always everything was done and my boat was fit for my next travel.

I came back to Umag in late 2011 after long stays in the Biscay, Mallorca and Elba. Again Alen took over the maintenance of my boat and helped me to prepare it for this great journey. He organized all local help, worked a lot and without him i doubt that i would have finished everything in time.

So, Alen thanks so much for all your trustfull support and i hope, when i am back in Umag in 2015, please take over my boat again. All the best for You and Your family.

We will have a great farewell party together on September 9 th.

Another important help was the Oyster After Sales Service.

My boat is build in 2000, so not a young boat, but still strong and fantastic.

Oyster gave me so much help and support, just perfect. I had other makes, so i can compare.

They had all my specs on record, send me all the parts i needed,  gave me advice where was lost. So also thanks to Oyster, and specially to Lucy and Dee.
